Adjusting the Issue of Patent Certificates for Electronic Patent Application

The State Intellectual Property Office will carry out the comprehensive electronic patent examination service and provide the “one-stop service” for patent examination and approval.

• From March 1, 2022 (including), the State Intellectual Property Office will no longer receive paper patent certificate requests for electronic patent applications, and relevant patent certificates will only be issued through the electronic patent application system.
• The authenticity of the electronic patent certificate can be verified through the China Patent Electronic Application Network.
